AKA Yard Sales, Flea Markets, Treasure Hunts. Today's title was suggested by my friend, Kitty.
I have appreciation for something out of the ordinary, an item not found in a mall store or catalogue. Thus my weekly (if possible) jaunts to alternative shopping sites. Such pleasure - prospecting for my 'gold'; for example that set of 6 matching glasses or a china plate with the loveliest floral on it. Sometimes it's the bargain and at other times it's the uniqueness of the piece that gives me a thrill. Kitty challenged me to put together a table from one of my expeditions. This particular trip yielded not just one but 2 great party tabletops. Watch for the lemon plates in an upcoming blog.
