Door decor provides a welcoming touch. When I host a party, I like to invite 4 old friends and 1 new (singles or couples). This keeps my guests engaged with sharing between the old and learning from the new. For the newcomers and the others, a sign at the door indicates 'this is the place' and more importantly, 'this is the place for ........' The theme, begun with the invitation, is reinforced at the door and continues, of course, inside. This was the scene for Saturday's Tiki Time.
