Friday the 13th party

Menu planning today and props scouting this week - I need an elephant with trunk up.
This dinner party will be buffet rather than sit down.  I'll be serving dishes with 13 ingredients as well as lucky food appetizers.  Round foods are considered lucky and pork is regarded as a lucky meat since pigs root forward.  So sausage balls will be perfect:  Remove 1 pound sausage meat from casings, mix with 2 1/2 cups Bisquik and 3 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.  Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls and place on baking sheet.  Brush with 3 Tablespoons heavy cream.  Bake 15 min at 400 degrees.  Makes 48.
