party planning at home: entertaining more often, less infrequently; more imaginatively, less expensively; more assuredly, less stressfully

Great Wall of China
During the winter months and holidays I display my Spode china and red glass dishes. I inherited the Spode Pink Tower pattern from my grandmother who used it everyday. One cup is quite discolored from my grandfather's afternoon tea. I recall fond memories of family dinners served on these plates.
Spring called for a change in dishes and black and white is the theme for the next few months. Featured are the Eiffel Tower plates and tea pot which were gifts from my friend, Kitty. These will create a lovely tabletop for an 'April in Paris' dinner later this month.
