While responding to the invitation for Saturday's party, someone noted that I failed to mention what she thought were clever elements of last month's jungle theme party, that is, the dessert offerings. My menu featured animal named items. I served Camel Caramel Cake, cAntelope and Hippopotamousse. Fun to think up and fun to eat.
I'm fortunate to have a wide selection of dishes and this amusing bowl was perfect! Since this party had so many offerings I took a shortcut for my dessert preparation. My mousse was simply 1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix made with 1 1/2 cups milk with 1 (16 ounce) container of thawed frozen whipped topping folded in. Chill and serve in your dish of choice.
