My foolproof hardboiled egg method: place 12 fresh large eggs in single layer in a saucepan, cover by 1 inch with cold water, bring to boiling, remove from heat, cover pan for 20 min, drain and run under cold water. Shell and prepare in a number of ways. Here is how I made them for Easter:
