I knew of the French cookie,
langue de chat or cat's tongue. . It's a crisp, buttery cookie in the shape of the feline's tongue and goes wonderfully with a cup of tea. However, last weekend at the Chocolate Festival in Provincetown, the Purple Feather introduced me to a chocolate version. Soooo good. Dark chocolate with raspberry sprinkled on ends.
